Factory Hub Vienna at the Global Startup Weekend Women

Hub agent Melanie Ruff coaches startup founders to implement their ideas

International startup event for women in Vienna

Melanie Ruff, Hub agent of the Factory Hub Vienna at TELE Haase, supports female startup founders in the realization of her ideas as part of the Global Startup Weekend Women in Vienna. From September 20th to 22nd 2019, women from all over the world will meet here to encourage, inspire, and bring together female executives in start-up teams with the multitude of resources and mentors in the startup community. Experienced mentors, such as Melanie Ruff, accompany the young entrepreneurs practically at the same time.
At the event, the founders can then find a team to solve a specific problem, prototype their idea, validate their business idea and get feedback from experienced entrepreneurs.

54 hours for an idea

Whether it’s about social, educational, financial, environmental or technical issues, over the weekend a prototype should emerge from an idea that meets the needs of a defined target group. In changing teams, female start-up executives find new perspectives and inspiration for their future development. In addition, they can make valuable contacts with developers, designers and entrepreneurs and win interesting prizes. The Techstars Global Startup Weekend Women is taking place in Vienna for the first time and working intensively with the local startup community and young entrepreneurs. This allows women to realize their dreams and build tools that can change the world.
